Juan Yu is a creative Korean fashion designer based in New York. Her first trial in the fashion industry in 1992 in a school project, was to become her source of her initial breakthroughs as a young designer. This happened when she designed a line of dresses that attracted a horde of luxury superstores including Harvey Nicholas, Neiman Marcus, Louis Boston, and Barneys New York among others.

A few years later in 1999, she received the Innovator Design Award from cotton incorporated and by 2001- Juan had invented a fresh silk lingerie and dress collections.
Under her belt too, was having her dress worn by the famous celebrity, Gwen Stefani, in 2004, which then disclosed her inner fashion design talent to world limelight.
